Cape Town has one of the largest shopping malls in Africa - Century City - with 200 shops, many restaurants and a movie complex (15 minutes drive from the Beaumont properties). The V&A Waterfront (see entry) also has shops, restaurants and a movie complex, amongst other attractions.

Cavendish Square (5 minutes) has a wide range of designer boutiques, and Constantia Shopping Centre (10 minutes) has an interesting collection of shops and restaurants.
